Father's Day gifts for abbu

Fathers are famously hard to buy for. "I don't need anything" is practically a family motto, and the gadgets and shirts get put away and forgotten. What tends to stay is something he uses every single day without thinking, that quietly reminds him who it came from. Which mug fits your abbu?

The man who is proud of his work

A profession mug (from Rs 2,200) shows him in his work uniform with the tools of the job. Doctors with stethoscopes, engineers in hard hats, pilots, teachers, chefs: if he has spent decades building a career, this says you noticed. Browse profession mugs for ideas.

The family man

A family mug (from Rs 2,700 for three figures) can show abbu with the kids on his shoulders, holding a baby, or surrounded by the grandchildren. Extra figures are Rs 300 each, up to eight in total. If it is just him and one child, two figures fit on a two-figure mug from Rs 2,400.

The hobby

A single-figure mug (from Rs 2,100) is him doing what he loves most: cricket, the newspaper and chai on the veranda, fishing, gardening, or fixing something in the garage.

Short and bold

A name mug (from Rs 1,900) uses clay letters and no figure: "Abbu", "Baba", "Best Papa" or "Super Dad".

What details make him recognisable?

Dads are often recognised by two or three things, so tell us exactly which ones. When you personalise the mug, mention:

• His moustache or beard, grey hair or a receding hairline, and his glasses.
• What he actually wears: shalwar kameez, a waistcoat, shirt and tie, a cap.
• His uniform or work clothes, and the tools he would be holding.
• For family scenes, each child's hair, height and outfit.

Upload up to five reference photos, and front-facing ones help most. Our usual style is blank faces or figures seen from behind. Cartoon faces with eyes and a smile are made on request.

Choose a mug colour he would like: glossy black, brown, dark green, white or yellow, or matte black, royal blue, red or dark green for Rs 300 more.

What if you miss Father's Day?

Father's Day falls on a Sunday in June. Every mug is made by hand in 7–10 days and then handed to a courier with tracking, so order at least 10 days before. Delivery is Rs 250 anywhere in Pakistan, and the courier usually takes 2–3 days after dispatch.

If the day is closer than that, message us on WhatsApp at 0335-4602621 before ordering. We will tell you honestly whether it can be done, and we will not promise a rush.

A little care goes a long way

Fathers are not always known for reading care instructions, so tell him yourself. He can drink from it every day, as the figures are on the outside. Hand wash it with warm soapy water and a soft sponge, hold it by the handle, and never put it in the microwave, oven or dishwasher. Our care guide has the full list.
